"Waswasa - Whispers in Prayer" is an immersive theatrical experience by artist Mohammed Ali, exploring the significance of Islamic prayer in modern society. Ali, an award-winning street artist, has showcased his murals, performances, and installations worldwide, from New York to Bangladesh. His largest production to date is now in Birmingham, where he serves as the founder and artistic director of Soul City Arts.
It went on to be part of Birmingham 2022 Festival of the Commonwealth Games.
In preparation for the show, scenes were filmed on an advanced LED volume. Visuals by Dylan Law and Takiya were complemented by IMAG's training and supply of the LED volume. A team of six technicians ensured optimal performance, handling tasks like pixel checks, shadowing, and calibration with Brompton processors. The setup utilized Disguise and Unreal, alongside Ncam for real-time tracking
